Creative Counselling
For teenagers aged 12+, adults and NDIS participants in Bundaberg
Counselling doesn't always have to involve sitting and talking.
Sometimes, finding the words to explain what you're experiencing can be difficult. Creative counselling offers different ways to explore emotions, understand yourself and develop skills through art, sandtray, movement and other expressive approaches.
At Brave Collective Studio, counselling is attachment-focused, neuroaffirming and guided by your individual needs, interests and goals.

Adolescence brings changes in identity, relationships, emotions and independence. For some teenagers, traditional talk-based counselling can feel uncomfortable or overwhelming.
Creative counselling provides space to explore experiences without the pressure of having to explain everything through words.
Counselling may support you with:
Understanding and expressing emotions
Developing emotional regulation and coping skills
Building confidence, identity and self-worth
Navigating friendships and family relationships
Communicating needs and boundaries
Managing change, anxiety and overwhelm
Sessions are guided by your teenager's interests, needs and comfort. Parents and caregivers are involved appropriately throughout the therapeutic process, recognising the importance of relationships and connection.
-
Sometimes, talking about what you're experiencing isn't enough, or finding the words can be difficult.
Creative and expressive counselling offers opportunities to explore emotions, relationships and patterns through experiences rather than conversation alone.
Counselling may support you with:
Understanding and regulating emotions
Recognising patterns in relationships
Building confidence and self-understanding
Exploring identity and personal experiences
Developing communication and coping skills
Navigating life transitions and change
You don't need artistic experience or creative skills to participate.
The focus isn't on what you create, but what you discover through the process.
-
Creative counselling can support NDIS participants to work towards individual capacity-building goals in ways that are meaningful, engaging and suited to their needs.
Rather than relying solely on conversation, sessions may incorporate creative activities that provide opportunities to explore, practise and develop skills.

Explore body awareness, emotions and regulation through movement, sensory experiences and activities suited to your individual needs.
Sandtray & Symbolic Work
Use miniature figures, objects and sandtray to explore emotions, relationships and experiences in ways that don't always require words.
